The aim of the IVAO Academy is to explain basic principles of Aviation and Air Traffic Management in such a way that they can be understood by a broad public. It is not meant to serve as a professional training course for Pilots or Air Traffic Controllers.
The information shown has been selected on what is considered of basic relevance for flight and air traffic control simulation and reworked to achieve a level of simplicity so it can be understood by a wide variety of people.
The IVAO ACADEMY includes several modules with chapters and sub-chapters. It will enable you to understand and learn what a virtual controller and/or a virtual pilot should know so that you can take part in it right from the beginning. Therefore, we highly recommend new members to start reading from the first section onwards.
