RegulationsIVAO Academy includes basic regulation knowledge. Other background documents will provide you a more in depth knowledge of some specific regulation aspects.
Service de l'Information Aéronautique (SIA)
The SIA is the central service of the Air Navigation Service Directorate for the General Directorate of Civil Aviation (DGAC) ; it is responsible for providing aeronautical information services necessary for safety, regularity and efficiency of national and international air navigation within the French areas of responsibility.
All available documents are made in PDF format and are only available in French:

Documents are available on the web site"Air Traffic Publications" page of the Federal Aviation Administration. The most useful publications with regard to IVAO use are:
L'AIM (Aeronautical Information Manual) and HTML format ;
The Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM) available as a PDF and HTML document ; this manual is designed to provide the aviation community with basic flight information and ATC procedures for use in the United States. It contains the fundamentals required in order to fly in the United States and other items of interest to pilots (airspace classification and regulations, ATC procedures, use of airports, radio aids, factors affecting flight safety, aeronautical charts) ; note that the AIM is the main documentary source for IVAO high level theoretical exams
Le document "
Air
Traffic Control" et au HTML format ;
ATC procedures are described in the Air Traffic Control paper (PDF, HTML) which describes air traffic control procedures and phraseology for use by persons providing air traffic control services
The Pilot/controller glossary (P/CG) is an addendum to the Aeronautical Information Manual.
Rules, regulations and aeronautical information of other countries are available on : sitessome foreign AIS; some of them require you register (free registration). In particular, we recommend you refer to the UK Civil Aviation Authority site; which is an inexhaustible source of documents ; we particularly like to draw your attention on the Manual of Air Traffic Services and the Radiotelephony manual).
