FRENCH AIR CUP 2021 - J3 : ONE LAST LAP
FRENCH AIR CUP 2021 COMES TO AN END!
Time to leave France and discover one of the greatest island the French Overseas has to offer. But don't think it will be only toursim cocktails and photos. Precision and rigor are expected for this last round of the French Air Cup 2021 !
To celebrate the division's anniversary, let us introduce you to the French Air Cup. This competition will cover three events, each promoting specific flying skills.
- Round 1: Harness yourself as we are going for an aerobatic race (VFR)! Time is key, but pay attention to remain inside the limit and don't miss the aerobatic figures!
- Round 2: Focus and learn your favorite SOP, this is an IFR flight for which you need to be perfect!
- Round 3: Precision will be the key during this VFR flight
Each contestant will get a mark for each round. That will permit a ranking for each round but also for the whole competition! At the end of the three events, a final ranking will be established. According to this final ranking, we will distribute gifts offered by our partners.
D3 : ONE LAST LAP
No yet time to fully relax but take your camera with you, you'll need it! This is a precision VFR flight, over beaches and the famous Piton de la Fournaise. You will need to climb!
Pilotes
Departing from FMEE, this flight will take you all around the island, including a touch and go FMEP before heading back to FMEE. To enter this event, you are required to book a slot! As you will see, some offer the same departure time: nothing to worry about, as for the first round, you will be invited to connect within a 30min slot and ATC will tell you when to start and go.

- You may book one slot maximum
- Booking starts on 26/06/2021 at 08:00UTC.
- After booking a slot you will receive a confirmation email on 28/06/2021 at 10:00UTC (please check your spam folder if you don't receive it, don't hesitate to contact us if you still can't see it)
- You must confirm your booking before 30/06/2021 at 23:59UTC. If you don't, your booking will be canceled and the flight will be available for other pilots to book.

Event rules
Rewards and rules for the French Air Cup 2021:
Here, competition implies rewards. For each round, a ranking will be established, and the winners will get some of the gifts we are to distribute. After the 3 rounds, the final ranking will also allow winners to get other gifts. Now let us introduce you to some of our partners for this 20th Anniversary!
After the third and last round, the best-ranked contestant will win the grand prize. Speaking of which, here are the prizes that will be awarded to the 3 best ranked contestants of the French Air Cup:

On top of points toward the Pilot event award and ATC event award, the French Air Cup 2021 will have you decorated with another special award :
for all members that would have joined, as a pilot or an ATC, all 3 rounds of the event.

Competition and joining rules:
- For the round rewards:
- Participate in the entire round, having booked a flight when needed, and send a flight report afterward;
- Observe all the rules that are available in the Pilot Area section of the event. Some rounds will require the use of the Tiny Flight Tracker (available here). This will be done using the Google Form in this publication;
- If a pilot was not to observe these rules, he could be given penalty points, and possibly be disqualified.
- For the final rewards:
- To be an active member of the IVAO network during the whole duration of the French Air Cup 2021;
- Having taken part in at least one round, and send at least one report.

The D3: One Last Lap event will be awarded one point for the "pilot event award" 
to every pilot who will have booked a slot and flown the itinirary from FMEE-FMEP-FMEE, during the timeframe of the event.
Rules:
All the rules are available on the booking website in the Pilot Area. The important points are the ones here below:
- The competition is open to every active member of the IVAO network;
- You shall book a flight in order to participate;
- CAT A, B, and C aircraft only are allowed;
- The flight shall be recorded using the Tiny Flight Tracker;
- You shall file a report including your "Tiny Flight Tracker" file by following this link.
