The IVAO HQ Events Department is pleased to present Maastricht Upper Area Control (MUAC) Opening Event. This event celebrates an IVAO effort to bring the MUAC into our network and marks the official opening of this ACC position by the IVAO HQ ATC Operations Department.
As in real life, the MUAC operates as an upper control between the FL245 and FL660 – providing air traffic services to civil and military aircraft from/to, or flying-by, in the upper airspace of four countries: Belgium (Brussels UIR), Luxembourg (Brussels UIR), Netherlands (Amsterdam FIR), and the north-west of Germany (Hannover UIR).
