And we keep going...

Now comes the time for a new challenge. Since the previous 4 months showed a great success for a Online Challenge Day, we are pleased to announce they are back for a few more months!

Here are the details of the Online Challenge Day, on 1^st February 2022 :

Airports

We are going for an adventure, in the most northern region of France, full of history and great landscapes, flying VFR with our favorite light-ish aircrafts. The occasion to (re)discover some not-so-famous little airfields here and there.

The following airfields will be covered for the challenge: Lille (LFQQ), Albert-Bray (LFAQ), Amiens (LFAY) and Calonne (LFQT) will be staffed and ready for you to bring your wings.

Tonight's challenge:

Take-off from wherever you fancy, from one of the airport in the list above and fly to adventure! Can you touch & Go to every airports involved that night? Or at least cross all their airspace!

Don't worry, covering all of them should take you about 1 hour.

Now you know us a bit better, you know we would stop just there! Lille (LFQQ), Albert-Bray (LFAQ) and Calonne (LFQT) airports actually have a full ATS service, however Amiens (LFAY) only get an AFIS service! Yay!

Charts

Don't forget that you can get any required chart from the SIA website, either in the AIP section for IFR flights or Flight Preparation section for VAC

Sceneries

IVAO France compiles most of regional and airport sceneries within a list, regularly updated available from the IVAO France website, under Pilot section.

ATC

Booking your position is still managed by the IVAO booking system. Do not hesitate to ask FIR staff to assist: they love helping people!

Event rules

You are still entitled to receive points toward the Online Day Award. You are to fill a participation report (Pilots & ATCs) from your dashboard or from the Event page.

One point will be awarded under the following conditions:

Every pilot flying from OR to a french airport, including Oversea territories;
Every ATC opening an ATC position under France division authority, for at least one hour and during the timeframe of the event.

To be awarded, do not forget to fill in the participation report after the Event!

Online Challenge Day
