Last trip before Autumn!

Summer is ending... Back to school or to work. We can imagine you are so happy to see your colleagues and your boss... are not you? Holidays sound to be already so far... That is why we propose you a last flight to conclude this summer period.

The divisions of Italy and France welcome you on Sunday, September 4th, from 14:00 UTC to 17:00 UTC, to discover two famous islands in the Mediterranean Sea : Corsica and Sardinia, flying under VFR conditions, between Calvi (LFKC) and Alghero (LIEA).

To help you, we can suggest some amazing locations to take the best photo capture as possible:

• In Corsica: Fly over the western coast between Calvi and Bonfacio, passing through Ajaccio and Cavallo Island
• In Sardinia: Overfly the northern coast between Alghero and the Maddalena archipelago
• Join Corsica and Sardinia following the Strait of Bonifacio

Please remember:

• Be ready and have your charts;
• Pay attention not to obstruct an ongoing communication, particularly joining a new frequency;
• Do not hesitate to take more fuel than expected;

Event rules

This event will be awarded one point for the "Pilot Events" award for every pilot flying between Calvi (LFKC) and Alghero (LIEA) under VFR rules, during the timeframe of the event.
