The last event of the year...

Every year, the French events department is happy to announce this flagship event: Strasbourg Christmas Market. We are waiting for you to celebrate the end of the year in Strasbourg, one of the most famous Christmas markets in the world, on Friday, December 15th between 20:00 UTC and 22:00 UTC.

Last year, 68 pilots landed successfully in Strasbourg. Are you ready to beat this number in 2023?

PILOTS

Your mission: Go to Strasbourg (LFST) from wherever you want. You shall land between 20:00 UTC and 22:00 UTC.

A huge traffic is expected! We would like to remind you of the following rules to ensure the best experience during this event:

Be ready and have your charts;
Under IFR conditions, you will be asked to follow radar vectoring and potentially enter a holding;
Pay attention not to obstruct ongoing communication, particularly joining a new frequency;
Do not hesitate to take more fuel than expected. Some delays could occur (Take at least one-hour extra fuel in case of holding) ;

BE CAREFUL! In case of emergency (Low Fuel or other reasons), traffic will be diverted to nearby airports such as Metz-Nancy Lorraine (LFJL) or Bâle Mulhouse (LFSB).

This event will be awarded one point for the HQ Pilot Event award for every pilot flying to Strasbourg (LFST) during the timeframe of the event.
