Let's discover New France and Newfoundland!

Did you know you could fly between France and Canada in less than an hour? No - this isn't supersonic flight - this is New France and Newfoundland! North America Region and France divisions invite you to an airbridge between Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon (French overseas territories) and St John's (Canada). Fly from Saint-Pierre (LFVP) or Miquelon (LFVM) to St John's (CYYT), or vice versa, on Sunday, October 1st 2023 between 18:00 UTC and 21:00 UTC.

 PILOTS

Shuttles are offered between St Johns (CYYT) and the French overseas territories of Saint-Pierre (LFVP) and Miquelon (LFVM), both of which will be open to international traffic. Due to the ground equipments in Saint-Pierre and Miquelon, a booking system has been created to avoid a huge amount of traffic on ground.

BE CAREFUL! You need to book a flight to take part in the event!

Regarding the booking system:

• You can book one flight maximum;
• Booking is available from Tuesday, September 19th at 19:00 UTC;
  
• Apfter booking your flight, you have to confirm it. If you did non confirm it, an email reminding you will be sent on Sunday, September 24th at 19:00 UTC (do not hesistate to check your spams);
• You must confirm your flight before Tuesday, September 28th at 19:00 UTC. If you do not confirm it, your booking will be cancelled;
• Booking will not be available from Sunday, October 1st at 18:00 UTC ;
• You can choose your own callsign;
• Be careful to the aircraft type, check the remarks of your booking flight.

• Be ready and have your charts;
• You will be asked to follow vectoring and potentially enter a holding;
• Pay attention not to obstruct ongoing communication, particularly joining a new frequency;

This event will be awarded one point for the Pilot Events award for every pilot flying according to his booking made on the booking system created for this event, during the event's timeframe.
