Certify a VA in France division

Do you want to certify your VA on IVAO and in France division? Here is the list of conditions that must be respected in order for the procedure to be successful.

If you want to certify your VA in France division, first take the time to read the rules and regulations specific to virtual airlines.

Then, check that you meet the following conditions:

  • have a valid and operational website (without advertising)
  • have a logo in .GIF format and having a minium size of 450 x 150 pixels
  • have an email address of the VA
  • have a minimum of 10 active pilots respecting the minimum number of hours to be performed per month (§ F3.2)
  • the president of the VA (CEO) must have a IVAO account for at least 6 months and be a member of the France division, be at least 18 years old, have not been suspended during the previous 3 months, have the ADC or PP rank, and belong to only one VA

If you meet these requirements, send an email to the departement FR-FO, using the procedure described on the HQ website.

The FO department of the France division is therefore consulted to approve the certification of the VA before it is approved by the HQ department. The division reserves the right to refuse or request the cancellation of the certification at any time. These rules apply to both military and civilian VAs.

Once the certification is approved, the VA:

  • have a coordination channel FO - VA on the division discord
  • must include the "IVAO VA CERTIFIED" logo (provided by the FO Department) on the VA website homepage
  • must include the France Division logo (with link to the division website) on the VA website home page
