LVP AT BREST

Bad weather you're saying? In Brittany? How come! Well, you're not dreaming! This evening, come join us and fly into bad weather, or at least bad visibility and ceiling. We need you to prove that everything is possible when it comes to Brittany!

If you have no idea how to fly in fog and low visibility, please read the "Pilot" section and the pilot briefing introducing the subtleties of such flying.

Departures and arrivals are welcome to fly through Brest (LFRB).

On the evening of the event, if the real weather does not correspond to LVP conditions, you will be asked to use weather corresponding to this METAR:

Please remember:

  • During LVP (Low Visibility Procedure), aircraft are to be more spaced than usual, please be patient and don't hesitate to carry on extra fuel, just in case! ;
  • Be ready and have your charts;
  • You may be instructed to hold and may be vectored in;
  • Pay attention not to obstruct an ongoing communication, particularly joining a new frequency;
