Santa stopped by Toulouse!

This year, airlines have multipled orders to aircraft manufacturing compagnies. Airbus decided to bring back all the remaining aicrafts from storage in  Châteauroux to Toulouse, ahead of preparations for delivery.

 PILOTS

Easy ferry flight then? Almost... aside of heavy trafic expected during the evening due to the operation, engineers have asked to plan a missed approach procedure arriving into Toulouse, followed by either a missed approach procedure or an Airbus specific red patterns . This is to check the operational performances of the aircrafts.

For this flight, dispatch has prepared the following route:

LFLX - LFBO : GUSON G28 LMG G36 ESISI (odd FLs, max FL190)

Following the missed approach, yuo must either :

• Follow the missed approach procedure associated to the flown approach, or comply with ATC instructions; or,
• Follow the red Airbus pattern available at Toulouse. Find more information here (FR only).

Rappelez-vous aussi :

• Be ready and have your charts;
• You may be vectored in, instructed to hold, follow headings or follow published procedures;
• Pay attention not to obstruct an ongoing communication, particularly joining a new frequency;
• Do not hesitate to take more fuel than expected.. Some delays could be applied at Toulouse;

This event will be awarded one point for the "Pilot Events" award for every pilot flying from LFLX to LFBO, in this direction, and proceeding with one missed approach, during the timeframe of the event.
