Not sure what to do this Saturday? Take advantage of the recent cool weather and fire up your flight simulator, head to Paris-Orly (LFPO). The concept is simple: the airfield will be fully controlled on Saturday, September 19, between 10:00 UTC and 16:00 UTC it’s up to you to decide what flight you’d like to make... Anything goes! Departures and arrivals !
PILOTS
Your mission: You must complete a flight of at least 30 minutes, departing from or arriving Paris-Orly (LFPO)
Also remember:
- Be prepared and have your charts readily available;
- Upon arrival, you may be instructed to follow vectors or enter a holding pattern;
- Be patient and make sure not to interrupt ongoing communications (especially when joining a frequency);
- Do not hesitate to carry extra fuel;
- Most importantly: Enjoy! :)
